Our Vision

The Lord Directs Our Steps

"The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps." – Proverbs 16:9

When Living Water Church was founded, it was not built on human ambition but on a calling from God—a calling to be a church that proclaims the gospel, makes disciples, and sends people out for the glory of Christ. Our journey has been one of faith, learning, and trusting the Lord to guide us.

Over time, we have seen our original vision take shape in ways we expected—and in ways we never anticipated. We began with dreams of growth, outreach, and multiplication, but the Lord has refined and redirected those dreams, shaping us into a church that is deeply rooted in discipleship, mission, and Spirit-led obedience.

We once envisioned large numbers, structured expansion, and visible impact, but the Lord has called us to something greater: faithful obedience, deeper relationships, and a sending mindset. Rather than gathering people just to build a congregation, we now see that we are called to equip and send believers to bring the gospel into their homes, workplaces, and the nations.

How Our Vision Has Shifted

  • From Growth to Discipleship: Our focus is not on numbers but on spiritual depth—making disciples who live out their faith daily.

  • From a Centralized Church to a Sent People: Rather than prioritizing one large church presence, we are committed to equipping believers to bring Christ into every area of life.

  • From Events to Everyday Mission: Evangelism and ministry are not just about organized events—they are about being Christ’s ambassadors in our daily interactions.

  • From Large-Scale Programs to Intentional Relationships: The Lord has led us to prioritize mentorship, biblical counseling, and relational discipleship over structured programs.

  • From Structured Church Planting to Spirit-Led Multiplication: Rather than pushing rapid church planting, we are developing leaders and sending out disciples to plant gospel communities where the Lord opens doors.

Our Vision Moving Forward

Vision Statement:
"Living Water Church exists to glorify God by making disciples who are transformed by the gospel, equipped to live on mission, and sent to reach the world for Christ."

What This Means for Us

  1. A Discipleship-Driven Church

    • Every believer is called to be a disciple-maker in their home, workplace, and community.

    • We equip people not just to attend church but to live as the church wherever they go.

A Church That Loves and Serves Our Community

    • We are committed to mercy ministries, biblical counseling, and outreach that bring Christ’s hope to the hurting.

    • Our impact is measured not by programs but by gospel transformation in real lives.

  2. A Sending Church

    • We don’t seek to gather and keep people—we equip and send them to make an impact for the kingdom.

    • This includes church planting, missionary training, and leadership development for long-term gospel work.

    A Worshipping Church

    • Our gatherings will be Christ-exalting, Word-centered, and Spirit-led.

    • Worship is not just what we do on Sundays—it is a way of life marked by obedience and surrender to Christ.

  3. A Church Led by the Spirit

    • We hold our plans with open hands, trusting the Lord to direct our steps in ways we may not yet see.

    • Our future is not about our strategies but about God’s mission and our faithfulness to follow Him.

“If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” – James 4:15

Living Water Church was never about building an institution—it has always been about advancing the kingdom. By God’s grace, we will continue to be a church that is faithful to the gospel, committed to making disciples, and sent out for His glory.

For the Glory of God Alone.
